Gateway Shidokan’s Dojo - 2023 Milestones
December 9th
Faulkingham Sensei hosted the annual Gateway Shidokan Karate Holiday Party this past weekend. It is always fun to celebrate with friends. Just as years passed, the Rob Your Neighbor game proved to be full of fun and drama. The kids had free rein of the basement for their epic Nerf battle, Rock Band, and lots of fun. Happy Holidays to you and yours!

We had our Annual Karate Family Picnic. We were so happy to see everyone having fun. The weather turned out to be perfect! It was a cool 81°F, compared to the 102°F temperatures we were experiencing during the week. Also, a special shout out of thanks to Bebe’s Bake Shoppe in Florissant for the delicious custom cookies; they were a big hit!

Gateway Shidokan Karate, LLC celebrates our one-year anniversary in our new private retail location! We love having mat floors, mirrors, makiwaras, a heavy bag, a private bathroom, and video conference abilities for long distance training with Iha Sensei and Roberto Sensei. Also, Faulkingham Sensei is thrilled that she no longer needs to carry all items into the building for classes. It is wonderful having everything we need on site!
